Islamabad (TDI): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday met with newly appointed Community and Labor Welfare Attachés serving in Pakistani missions abroad.
During the meeting, the premier expressed satisfaction that their appointments were made through a transparent process.
He instructed Labor Welfare Attachés that the welfare of overseas Pakistanis should be their top priority.

PM Shehbaz also praised the overseas Pakistani community as a “valuable asset whose contributions bring billions of dollars in foreign exchange to the country.”
The premier asked attachés to always prioritize Pakistan’s interests and work hard to improve the country’s image abroad.
He further instructed them to actively seek employment opportunities for skilled Pakistani workers in foreign markets and explore possibilities for bringing business and investment into Pakistan.

The attachés briefed the Prime Minister on their respective strategies for their assigned stations. The Prime Minister extended his best wishes for their success.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi, Prime Minister’s Coordinator Rana Ehsan Afzal, and senior government officials also attended the meeting.
