Visa-Free Travel Deal Finalized Between China and Malaysia

Beijing (TDI): China and Malaysia have signed an agreement on mutual visa exemption for holders of official and ordinary passports, aimed at simplifying cross-border travel procedures and supporting bilateral exchanges in various sectors.

The agreement is expected to take effect in the near future, following the completion of relevant procedures by both sides.

This development is intended to make travel between China and Malaysia more convenient for citizens of both countries.

The mutual visa exemption is designed to reduce administrative barriers and encourage smoother movement of people for purposes such as business, tourism, education, and cultural exchange.

The agreement forms part of the two countries’ efforts to strengthen cooperation under the framework of their bilateral relationship.
