Vaccination is the first priority of Thai Red Cross

Bangkok: 7th July 2021 (TDI) Dr. Pasawiss Tangwiwat volunteered at the Thai Red Cross Society vaccination site. In 2021 mass vaccinations are considered the best way to control the pandemic.

More than 4000 Red Cross volunteers have worked all hours since May 2021to get people vaccinated all across the country. Along with some non-medical volunteers, the Thai Red Cross has successfully vaccinated at least 20,000 people in Bangkok city. Deputy Director at the Relief and Community Health Bureau of the Thai Red Cross said, ‘Everyone who comes here gets the vaccine, irrespective of whether they are Thai or not. Vaccinations are not just for your safety. It is about the safety of your family, neighbor, and community. It is everyone’s responsibility to get vaccinated.’ With the rising number of infections in Thailand, the Red Cross has asked more people to volunteer and support them with vaccinations.
