July 01, 2021 – (TDI): The administrator of USAID, Samantha Power met the Chairperson of the Afghanistan Independent Human Rights Commission, Shaharzad Akbar. They discussed the situation of Afghanistan, including the hurdles confronted by the Afghan civilians. They exchanged their views about the latest strikes on school children, Hazaras, and vaccinators. Ms. Power reiterated President Biden’s commitment to improving the bilateral relations between Afghanistan and the US.
