Washington, 20 Sept 2021 (TDI): The United States Department of State announced that the US under the leadership of President Joe Biden will host a Summit for Democracy in December 2021.
According to the statement, the USA with its allies will give out its agenda on renewal of democratic values, Human Rights, and the efforts to counter corruption. A statement was released by the White House that the virtual event will provide a chance to the world leaders to present the challenges their democracy face in the contemporary world. President Joe Biden seeks to consolidate the democracy of the world via this platform
The summit will focus on three themes: fighting corruption, defending against authoritarianism, and promoting respect for human rights.
