The curriculum is part of the Climate Change Awareness and Action for Nature, Diversity, Livelihoods, and Ecosystems (CANDLE) initiative. It includes an interactive toolkit for teachers, offering easy-to-follow lesson plans. These cover key topics such as the science of climate change, its effects, and practical ways to adapt.

“By bringing climate education into schools, we are empowering young minds to take action,” said Lisa Swenarski, Minister Counselor for Public Diplomacy, at the launch in Islamabad. “These students will learn the importance of protecting the environment. That’s where real change begins.”
