Washington D.C, 14 August 2021 (TDI): Yesterday, the US secretary of State Antony J. Blinken talked to the Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi on call. Both officials discussed the ongoing developments in Afghanistan.
Secretary Blinken informed Tileuberdi about the drawdown going on in Afghanistan. He assured him that the US will maintain its diplomatic relations with the Afghan Government during these changing circumstances. Additionally, they also discussed issues related to the COVID-19.
