Italy: June 29, 2021 – (TDI): The Secretary of the United States of America, Antony Blinken met the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Faisal Bin Farhan, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of France, Jean-Yves Le Drian at the G20. In this meeting, they addressed the Yemen crisis and the situation of Lebanon. They stressed the need for a strong political process in both countries. They also expressed the need for economic reforms in Lebanon. The improvement obtained in Saudi Arabia, in regards to human rights and economic reforms, was also a part of the discussion. Regional Security was highlighted in this meeting.
