Islamabad, 4 August 2022 (TDI): The top Export destination of Pakistani products during the fiscal year 2021-2022 is the United States of America, according to the State Bank of Pakistan’s data.

According to State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) data, total exports to the United States during July-June (2021-22) were $6798.982 million, up from $5030.724 million in July-June (2020-21).
Cotton, scrap iron and steel, and navigational equipment were the top three value-added exports from the United States in May 2022. Linens for bed, bath, and kitchen, knit or crocheted sweaters, pullovers, vests, and women’s or girls’ suits, not knit, were the top three value-added imports from Pakistan.
The top three U.S. exports by tonnage were cotton, scrap iron, steel, and paper, paperboard scrap. Natural Steatite, Roughly Trimmed Etc; Talc 2526 Various forms of salt, and Linens for bed, bath, and kitchen were the top three tonnage imports into the United States.
US Exports to Pakistan in 2020
In 2020, the United States exported $2.78 billion to Pakistan. In addition, the top three products exported from the United States to Pakistan were raw cotton ($735 million), soybeans ($389 million), and scrap iron ($283 million).
Over the last 25 years, US exports to Pakistan have increased at an annualized rate of 4.52 percent, from $918M in 1995 to $2.78B in 2020.
Pakistan exported $4.04 billion to the United States in 2020. Additionally, House Linens ($907 million), Knit Sweaters ($327 million), and Other Cloth Articles ($267 million) were the top three product exports of the United States.
Pakistani exports to the United States have increased at an annualized rate of 4.79 percent over the last 25 years, from $1.26 billion in 1995 to $4.04 billion in 2020.
China and UK are in the top 3 Exporter List
China is the second top export destination. China’s exports of Pakistani goods are worth $2781.480 against the exports during the last years of $2043.887. The exports have increased by 36.08%.
The UK is The third on the list. The total exports of the UK during the fiscal year 2021-2022 are worth $2200.007 million against the exported goods of last year’s worth of $2048.293 million.
