Islamabad, 4 August 2021 (TDI): The Embassy of the United States of America in Islamabad celebrated the nomination of Khizr Khan, a Pakistani-American, as the commissioner for the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, by the President of the United States of America, Joe Biden.
Khizr Khan, the founder of Constitution Literacy and National Unity Center, has been advocating for religious freedom to be recognized as human dignity. Being a licensed lawyer before the Supreme Court of the United States, various Federal District Courts, and Washington, DC and New York State courts, he assists military veterans and their families, legally.
