July 26, 2021 – (TDI): The United States of America congratulated Fiame Naomi Mata’afa, on being the first-ever female Prime Minister elected in Samoa. The US government is excited to work with the new government of Samoa, especially the newly appointed Prime Minister Mata’afa. While being excited for this new government in Samoa, the US government expressed gratefulness to the former government and the former Prime Minister Tuila’epa Sa’ilele Malielegaoi for the strong friendly relations they have.
