Sanaa (TDI): The US military launched airstrikes on the Houthi-held Yemeni capital Sanaa on Saturday night.
Houthi-run al-Masirah TV reported that the airstrikes hit the Attan area but provided no further details or information on casualties.
Residents of Sanaa said the airstrikes targeted a missile depot in Attan Mountain, which is a military site controlled by Houthis in the southern part of Sanaa.
A huge explosion was heard across the federal city following the strike at Attan Mountain.

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) said in a statement on social media platform X that the its forces carried out precision airstrikes against a missile storage facility and a command-and-control center operated by Houthis.
CENTCOM stated that during the operation, its forces intercepted multiple Houthi one-way attack drones and an anti-ship cruise missile over the Red Sea.

The airstrikes came hours after the Houthi group stated it was behind a ballistic missile attack that targeted central Israel and wounded at least 20 people in Tel Aviv.
