Washington D.C, 14 August 2021 (TDI): Earlier this morning, the US secretary of State Antony J. Blinken wished Pakistan a happy independence day. The US looks forward to strengthening the relationship with Pakistan, he added.
On behalf of the US government, Blinken gave his warm wishes to the government and people of Pakistan on their 75th Independence Day. He acknowledged seven decades of US-Pakistan relations and expressed his hopes for a strong partnership in the future. He said that the US will continue collaborating with Pakistan to promote the Afghan Peace Process, ensure economic development, and defeat COVID-19.
