Nur-Sultan: July 09, 2021 (TDI): The President of the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly, H.E Volkan Bozkir, ended his visit to Kazakhstan. Today, he met Mukhtar Tilueaberdi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
During their meeting, they talked about the role of Parliament in administering the objectives of UNGA along with the regional political, environmental, and economical issues. President also observed the leadership role played by Kazakhstan implementing the special development needs for landlocked countries.
The UNGA President took to his Twitter handle addressing ” I praise Kazakhstan as a leading country at the UN, with fundamental contributions to the work of organizations in peace & security, sustainable developments and approaching human rights”.
Bozkir had informative discussions on several issues including regional peace and security, the need for Covid-19 vaccinations for all, and the Afghanistan Non-Proliferation agenda.
UNGA highly supports Kazakhstan to achieve its development aspirations through the 2030 Global Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals.
