Kabul, 27 August 2021 (TDI): Antonio Guterres, the Secretary-General of the UN, expressed his deepest condolences towards the injured people in Kabul. The airport attack in Kabul made the international community concerned. After the Taliban takeover, many Afghan people, as well as the international community, expressed their apprehensive concerns towards the Taliban.
Antonio Guterres condemned the attack at the Kabul airport. This horrible and deplorable attack caused many to die and many got injured. He stated that the UN will continue to support the Afghan people and bring the perpetrator to justice. Antonio Guterres further said that the UN has always cooperated and supported Afghan people and at this time of chaos, the UN will try its best to help them. He appreciated Afghans and those who are helping to escort the injured.
