Antananarivo, 18 September 2021 (TDI): Issa Sanogo, the incumbent United Nations Resident Coordinator for Madagascar, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Madagascar, Patrick Rajoelina, to discuss international cooperation.
The epicenter of the meeting was to discuss the international cooperation and the role of Madagascar in support of the ongoing United Nations Missions in the region. Along with it, the participation of Madagascar in the United Nations General Assembly was also put on the table.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs Madagascar and the Resident Issa Sanogo also discussed in detail the support of Madagascar for the success of Objectifs de Développement Durable (Sustainable Development Goals) and the Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSCDF).
The meeting ended on a good note with promises for the support and accomplishment of the Agenda 2030- the Sustainable Development Goals.
