New York, 28 September 2021 (TDI): The Republic of Uganda and the Lao People’s Democratic Republic signed an agreement for establishing diplomatic relations. The aim of this agreement is to strengthen and promote the ties of friendship and cooperation between the countries and their peoples.
Adonia Ayebare, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Uganda to the United Nations and Anouparb Vongnorkeo Permanent Representative of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic to the United Nations signed this agreement, on behalf of their respective countries.
