Islamabad, 18 May 2023 (TDI): The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador, Hamad Obaid Al-Zaabi, paid a visit to Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff in the Pakistan Air Force. The primary focus of their meeting was to discuss areas of shared interest and regional developments.
During their conversation, the Air Chief Staff shared his vision for modernizing the Pakistan Air Force, which involved strategic acquisitions from allied nations, infrastructure upgrades, and revitalization of operational and training domains.
Emphasizing the longstanding religious, cultural, and historical ties between the two states, Zaheer Ahmed reiterated his unwavering commitment to strengthening the existing military-to-military cooperation, strategic alliance, and training partnerships between the two countries.

Furthermore, the Ambassador pledged to contribute towards further enhancing bilateral military ties across all levels. He expressed a desire to strengthen cooperation in various domains, including training, emerging technologies, and mutual collaboration in the aviation industry.
