UAE Ambassador Meets Nawaz, Maryam in Murree

Murree (TDI): United Arab Emirates Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi met with former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Friday.

The meeting followed closely on the heels of a similar visit by Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed al-Maliki a day earlier.

While the Punjab government did not officially disclose the venue, both high-level meetings reportedly took place at the Sharif family’s residence in the hill station of Murree, where the father-daughter duo has been staying for the past few days.

During the discussion with Ambassador Al-Zaabi, the two sides reportedly explored ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation, particularly in areas such as economic development, science, education, and sustainability.
