Islamabad (TDI): Salem Mohammed Salem Al Bawab Al Zaabi, the Ambassador-designate of the United Arab Emirates to Pakistan, presented his credentials to President Asif Ali Zardari at a ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Monday.

The Ambassador was greeted with a Guard of Honour by a contingent of the Pakistan Armed Forces upon his arrival.

In their conversation, President Zardari reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong solidarity with the UAE, noting that Pakistan was the first country to recognize the UAE in 1971.

He emphasized the historic ties between the two countries, which are based on shared faith, mutual trust, and aspirations for regional peace and prosperity.
