Turkmenistan in Top Ten for Cheap Gasoline

Ashgabat, 7 September 2024 (TDI): Turkmenistan has ranked in World’s top ten countries for cheap Gasoline.

According to the Global Petrol Prices portal, Iran currently has the cheapest gasoline price in the world at $0.029 per liter.

Other countries with low gasoline prices include Libya ($0.032), Venezuela ($0.035), Egypt ($0.309), Algeria, Kuwait ($0.344), Malaysia ($0.471), and Nigeria ($0.485).

Turkmenistan ranks 8th in the list of most affordable gasoline prices, with one liter of Octane-95 gasoline costing $0.0429.

In contrast, the highest gasoline prices are recorded in countries such as Israel, Barbados, Singapore, Denmark, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Liechtenstein, Iceland, Monaco, and Hong Kong, where the price is the highest at $3.269 per liter.

Kazakhstan Ranks 11th

Among Central Asian countries, Kazakhstan ranks 11th with a price of $0.507 per liter for Octane-95 gasoline.

Kyrgyzstan is 30th, with a price of $0.874 per liter, and Uzbekistan ranks 42nd, with a price of $0.986 per liter.

Tajikistan’s gasoline price was not included in the data.

The Global Petrol Prices portal has been tracking energy prices since 2012, providing insights into fuel, electricity, and natural gas prices across more than 150 countries.
