Ankara (TDI): The Republic of Türkiye has officially welcomed the formation of a transitional government in Syria, marking a significant step toward political stability and reconciliation in the war-torn country.
This development follows the convening of the National Dialogue Conference and the subsequent announcement of the Constitutional Declaration, highlighting the Syrian administration’s dedication to advancing an inclusive and Syrian-led political transition.
In a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye, the government reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to supporting a comprehensive and inclusive political process in Syria.

Syria’s new transitional government has been unveiled yesterday nearly four months after the fall of the Assad regime. Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa has announced a transitional government, appointing twenty three ministers in a new diverse cabinet.
Earlier this month, Syrian Interim Government issued a constitutional declaration, designed to serve as the foundation for the interim period led by al-Sharaa.
