Ankara, 10 October 2023 (TDI): The President of Turkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held telephonic conversations with world leaders to discuss the Palestine-Israel conflict by underscoring to resolve the issue peacefully.
President Erdoğan held telephonic conversations with the President of Palestine, the Prime Minister of Lebanon, the Emir of Qatar, the President of Egypt, and the President of Israel.
While speaking with the President of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, he discussed the latest developments regarding the tension in the region as well as the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine.
During the call, President Erdoğan stated that Turkiye would make every effort for the conflicts in the region to end and for the peace to be immediately restored.
Similarly, in separate telephonic conversations with the Prime Minister of Lebanon, Najib Mikati, Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi of Egypt, all parties shared the same concerns regarding increasing conflicts in the region within the framework of the Palestine-Israel issue and discussed the way to end the tensions.
President Erdoğan while speaking with the aforementioned leaders reiterated that Turkiye will continue its efforts to bring an end to the conflicts in the region.

President Erdoğan also spoke on the phone with the President of Israel, Isaac Herzog to address the latest developments regarding the tension in the region as well as the ongoing conflict in Israel and Palestine.
During the call, President Erdoğan underscored that any step by which the people of Gaza will get harmed as a whole will further increase the suffering and the spiral of violence in the region.
In this regard, President Erdoğan stressed that rational actions must be taken to resolve the tensions for the restoration of peace in the entire region.
He also emphasized that Turkey will continue its efforts to bring an end to the worrying conflicts in the region, and for lasting peace to be ensured.
