Los Angeles (TDI): The Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump, threatened on Friday to deport a significant number of Haitian immigrants from Springfield, Ohio, despite the fact that most of them were in the country lawfully.
During a press conference in Los Angeles, Trump made this promise while continuing to stir up controversy by making unfounded allegations that the entrance of Haitians was negatively affecting the local community.
Trump threatened to deport a significant number of people from Springfield, citing the 12,000–15,000 Haitian residents as his target.
Trump made reference to the bogus accusation made by right-wing rumors earlier in the week during a presidential debate, which is that Haitian immigrants consume domestic pets.
Trump did not reiterate this accusation in his most recent remarks.

Officials in Springfield have connected the vitriolic discourse surrounding immigration to bomb threats directed at government and educational institutions in the area, which has caused tensions to rise.
As a precaution on Friday, one middle school was shuttered and two primary schools were evacuated.
Threats motivated by hate must stop, President Joe Biden said, who denounced the attacks.
Biden urged the safety of the Haitian population, saying, “There’s no place in America for this.”

Officials from the Haitian community have voiced worries that Trump’s comments may exacerbate prejudice and violence.
Claims against the Haitian people are unfounded, according to official reports from the area.
“We need help, not hate,” Springfield Mayor Rob Rue declared in reaction to the growing tensions and false information circulating in the neighborhood.
He urged people to remain calm and united.
