TRNC Representative Met Ambassador of Oman to Pakistan


Islamabad, 9 November 2021(TDI):   Sheikh Mohammed bin Omar Al Marhoon, Ambassador of Oman to Pakistan received  Dilshad Şenol – representative of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in his office today.

The meeting was aimed to enhance bilateral collaboration and build communication and economic and commercial cooperation between the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Oman.

There are huge potentials between both sides to develop trade relations. Both sides also reviewed and exchange experiences and discuss creating trade and economic partnerships with Pakistani counterparts.

Excellency Disad Senol has recently joined the representative office here in Islamabad. Her main goal here in Pakistan is to improve the bilateral ties and promote the bond between the people of TRNC and Pakistan.

One of the key areas that the Representative of TRNC is focusing on during her stay in Pakistan is building tourism and education linkages to the next best level.

TRNC is located in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea and is at the juncture of three continents. Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean sea. TRNC has the capital Lefkoşa and is one of the largest cities of TRNC. Other important cities are Gazimağusa and Girne. English is the official language and Islam is the state religion. Nearly 99 percent of the population is Muslim.
