Gaviria, the expert of the openers

The Colombian cycler Fernando Gaviria achieved 1st place in yesterday’s stage. He is part of the UAE Team despite his nationality. Fernando raised his arms as a victor after 3 hours 17 minutes and 4 seconds. After taking the lead with Kaden Groves, outsprinted him as he did on the Tour of France in 2018.

Finally, but not least important, Mohammed Al-Wahibi in the representation of the Oman National Team showed his strength in the hilly section of the stage. However, nothing is still defined because the second day is flatter, but the 167.5km on the coast should bring intense racing again on the way to the Suhar Corniche.
