The telephonic conversation held between Pakistan’s Prime Minister and his Iraqi counterpart

Baghdad, 24 September 2021 (TDI): The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, received a call from the Prime Minister of Iraq, Mustafa Al- Kadhimi. The purpose of the phone call is to wish Iraq Prime Minister good luck for his future developments and success in elections in October. Furthermore, Imran khan urged to persist constant support for the bilateral trading between the two countries.
The conversation continued with expressing hope and desire for strengthening the democracy in Iraq. The Prime minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, conveyed his greetings to the Iraqi Prime minister for possessions of Baghdad’s conference for Cooperation and partnership in August. Both the ministers held a talk to build bilateral relations stronger in investments, infrastructure, religion, and tourism.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan said that the great initiative from the Iraqi government is for tourism would be beneficial for Iraq and Pakistan. The telephone call resumed with discussing the Afghanistan issue as well.
The heads of state approved the significance of genuine humane efforts in Afghanistan. The Prime Minister said we would like to have the Iraqi Prime Minister in Pakistan on a bilateral call.
