Dushanbe, 16 September 2021 (TDI): The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan invited the Tajikistan companies to invest in Pakistan. He invited them during his address to the Pakistan-Tajikistan Business Forum in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. The forum was attended by 67 Pakistani and 150 Tajik firms from various fields. The Official Account of the Prime Minister’s Office, Government of Pakistan also tweeted about the address today.

While telling the purpose of the meeting, Imran Khan said that it was his first visit to Tajikistan, and he also met the business community for the first time. He told the forum that the objective of the gathering is to promote the interaction between the business community of Pakistan and Tajikistan.

Imran Khan also assured that Pakistan’s government will give incentives and facilitate the Tajik investors. He encouraged the businessman in collaboration by saying that Pakistan is a huge market, in which both sides will benefit. He emphasized, “The more trade, the more benefit”. In the meeting, the Pakistani Minister of Commerce was also present.
The Prime Minister is on his two-day visit to Tajikistan, to attend the 20th Shanghai Cooperation Organisation’s (SCO’s) Heads of State Summit in Dushanbe.
