The Iran-Qatar partnership continues to consolidate

-

Doha, 5 October 2021 (TDI): The Qatari Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs launched a meeting today with his Iranian counterpart, Ali Bagheri Kani. The Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs is currently visiting Doha to continue consolidating diplomatic ties.

During the meeting, two brothers, friends, and neighbors in the region were discussing bilateral cooperation. Qatari-Iranian relations include the security of the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, and the Gulf of Oman. Both nations remain consistent in the regional security across the region.

This visit was followed by yesterday’s meeting between the Qatari Prime Minister and the Iranian representative. In that sense, political relations seem to grow to look for potential cooperation in economic, commercial, scientific, and cultural fields.
