Dushanbe, 17 September 2021 (TDI): Kairat Sarybay, the Executive Director of Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) met with Vladimir Norov, the Secretary-General Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) and Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on 16 September 2021. Kairat and Norov met on the sidelines of SCO Summit 2021 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
The Executive Director of CICA said that they both had effective communication on the vision of collaboration between the CICA and SCO. He also mentioned that the two sides exchanged views on the recent development in the region and the risks that arose as a result of the regional changes.
