The Chinese public security minister met North Korea’s diplomat


Beijing, 31 August 2021 (TDI): Chinese State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Zhao Kezhi met the Democratic Republic of Korea’s Ambassador to China Ri Ryong Nam. China and North Korea have a long journey of relationship and they have worked on many joint ventures. 

This meeting emphasized border security issues. Both sides pressed on the need to jointly safeguarding the security of China and the DPRK. China and DPRK are working to consolidate their bilateral relations in different avenues. Furthermore, they accentuated the stability of border areas which is paramount for both states.
