The Chief of the South African Defence Force met the Chief of Naval Staff on Thursday.

The commander of the South African Defense Forces, General Ruzani Mapuwanya, met with the Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Mohammed Amjad Khan Niyazi at the Naval Headquarters in Islamabad on Thursday. Upon arrival, the commander of the South African Defense Force met with the Chief of Naval Staff. The elegantly dressed Pakistani naval contingent presented the guard of honor. The Commander-in-chief of the South African defense force was then introduced to the Chief of the Naval Staff. 

During the meeting, the two sides discussed issues of mutual concern, such as bilateral cooperation and regional security. The Commander of the South African defense force expressed satisfaction with the scale and scope of the relationship between Pakistan and the South African Defense Force. The senior official praised and affirmed the efforts and dedication of the Pakistan Navy in supporting joint maritime security in the region. Both heads of the state pledged to further strengthen and diversify the existing bilateral defense relations. 

The visit of the commander-in-chief of the South African Defense Forces is aimed at further strengthening the bilateral cooperation between the two countries, especially the cooperation between the naval forces
