Bangkok, 27 October 2021 (TDI):Thailand’s Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha participated in 1st virtual ASEAN-AUSTRALIA summit.
The summit began on Tuesday under the leadership of Brunei. Chan-ocha discussed the sustainable recovery in a virtual address.

Thailand proposed cooperation in three areas related to public health and vaccine self-reliance. Thailand’s Premier also stressed over the cooperation on Bio-Circular-Green Economic Model and people-to-people connectivity to support robust & sustainable economic recovery in the region.
The Summit this year excluded Myanmar. Myanmar is facing severe power transition crisis when the military ousted Aung San Suchi in a coup.
