Gujranwala (TDI): Rongvudhi Virabutr, Ambassador of Thailand to Pakistan, held an interactive meeting with faculty members and students at the Gujranwala Institute of Future Technologies (GIFT University), underscoring the central role of youth in national development and the evolving landscape of global cooperation.
The engagement focused on an exchange of views with students and academic staff, during which Ambassador Virabutr emphasized that young people represent a country’s most significant driving force.
He noted that providing youth with opportunities to shape their own futures is essential in responding effectively to the rapid changes of the modern world.
According to the Ambassador, today’s global environment offers unprecedented access to knowledge and information, making it imperative for young generations to cultivate adaptability, innovation, and critical thinking.
Addressing the students, Ambassador Virabutr highlighted the importance of fostering an innovative mindset and developing entrepreneurial skills aligned with global economic and social trends.

He noted that 2026 marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, an occasion that offers renewed opportunities for collaboration across education, trade, innovation, and people-to-people exchanges.
