Sufficient Proof of Terrorists Using US Weapons against Pakistan

Islamabad (TDI): The Foreign Office says that Pakistan has sufficient proof of terrorists using the weapons left behind by US troops in terrorist activities on its soil.

In a weekly press briefing on Thursday, FO spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan said that the authorities had repeatedly conveyed their concerns to the Afghan government and provided evidence, but to no avail.

Talking about the Morocco boat tragedy, Shafqat said the repatriation of Pakistani survivors had begun, which will be completed by February 1.

The FO spox added that the Pakistan Embassy in Rabat was in continuous contact with Moroccan authorities to oversee the welfare and repatriation of the Pakistani survivors.

He also condemned the recent attack on a Saudi hospital in El Fasher, terming it a clear violation of international law.

“We believe that the conflict can only be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy,” he said and offered full support for Sudan’s unity and territorial integrity.

The spokesperson also touched on the subject of recent propaganda targeting the Pakistan-China friendship.

He said Pakistan was fully committed to the foundational principle of the One China Policy.

The policy is a consistent cornerstone of Pakistan’s foreign policy and remains unchanged,” he added.
