Islamabad (TDI): A 17-year-old TikTok content creator, Sana Yousaf, was tragically shot dead in her home located in Sector G-13/1 of Islamabad on Monday. Police say the incident occurred around 5 p.m. while most of her family members were away.
According to authorities, the alleged shooter, a young male acquaintance of Yousaf, visited her home, where she lived with her family in the upper portion of the house. At the time of the incident, only her aunt was present, who later became a key witness.
The suspect fired two bullets at Yousaf’s chest following a brief exchange. Her aunt told investigators that she overheard Yousaf pleading with the visitor: “Go away from here. There are cameras all around. I will fetch you some water,” moments before shots were fired.
Yousaf, who recently celebrated her 17th birthday, had over 740,000 followers on TikTok and was widely known on the platform for her short videos and lifestyle content.
Her body was transferred to PIMS Hospital for postmortem examination, and a formal murder case has been registered under Section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
