Kuwait City, 17 July 2023 (TDI): Ambassador Zubaydullo Zubaydzoda of the Republic of Tajikistan embarked on a series of diplomatic engagements in Kuwait which were aimed at fortifying multilateral relations.

The first encounter involved a productive discussion with Sameeh Essa Johar Hayat, Kuwait’s esteemed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Their deliberations honed in on bolstering cooperation across political, economic, trade, investment, and tourism domains.

Underlining the significance of high-level visits, they stressed the need to fortify the existing contractual and legal framework to show their commitment.

Furthermore, in the trajectory of productive engagements, Ambassador Zubaydzoda met with Ziad Nakat, the distinguished Resident Representative of the World Bank in Kuwait.

This meeting proved instrumental in delving into strategies for attracting foreign investment to Tajikistan while fostering a collaborative environment within it.

They discussed various areas of mutual interest, highlighting the pivotal role of international support in propelling Tajikistan’s economic development forward.

Adding to the string of diplomatic successes, Ambassador Zubaydzoda engaged in discussions with Sheikh Talal Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the newly elected President of the Olympic Council of Asia.

In this congenial meeting, Ambassador Zubaydzoda presented a congratulatory message from H.E. Emomali Rahmon, the esteemed President of the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan, to Sheikh Talal.
