Dushanbe (TDI): In a significant move to strengthen economic relations and promote e-commerce, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Russia’s RVB, the parent company of the popular online marketplace Wildberries.

The MoU was formalized during the Intergovernmental Commission, co-chaired by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin and Tajik Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda.

The memorandum was signed by Tatyana Kim, the founder of Wildberries and head of RVB, along with Jamshed Jumakhonzoda, Chairman of the Tajik Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The two parties have committed to enhancing support for entrepreneurship in Tajikistan, with a particular emphasis on developing the country’s e-commerce sector.

Wildberries, known for its extensive network of partnerships with local manufacturers and service providers, aims to foster collaboration with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Tajikistan.

Special attention will also be given to promoting women’s entrepreneurship within the country.
