Islamabad, (TDI): Tajikistan’s Ambassador, Sharifzoda Yusuf Toir, called on Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Wednesday to discuss defence and economic cooperation.
During the meeting, matters related to aviation were also brought up, according to a press release.
Khawaja Asif reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to peaceful resolution of regional issues and lauded Tajikistan’s efforts in promoting peace and economic connectivity in the region.
The Tajik envoy underscored the close, brotherly ties between the two nations and assured his government’s willingness to collaborate with Pakistan on areas of mutual interest.
