Ankara, 8 October 2021 (TDI): Ambassador of Tajikistan to Turkey, Ashrafjon Gulov met Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology, Mustafa Varank. He is also the Co-Chairman of the Tajik-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.
Both parties discussed issues of the next meeting of the Tajik-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation were discussed. It will be held on October 11-13, 2021 in Dushanbe. It was noted that Dushanbe and Ankara have great potential for the development of trade and investment cooperation. Both parties agreed that the initiatives of the private sector of Tajikistan and Turkey in the implementation of joint investment projects in Tajikistan should be fully supported.
The parties had a constructive discussion to find new ways of trade and economic cooperation. Both parties agreed to hold the next meeting of the above-mentioned Commission at a high level.
