Geneva, 14 September 2021 (TDI): On Monday, the Minister of International Development Cooperation & Humanitarian Affairs of Sweden, Per Olsson Fridh met UNFPA Executive Director, Dr. Natalia Kanem. Both during the meeting deliberated on the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan.

Per Olsson Fridh also highlighted the necessity for complete humanitarian aid. He also advocated the protection of women in Afghanistan.
The Swedish Minister also acknowledged UNFPA efforts in the initiative of Stay and Deliver. He also expressed his tremendous support for the women and children of Afghanistan.
