The stage is prepared for the T20I and ODI match between Pakistan Women and Sri Lanka Women.
The first training session for the Sri Lankan women’s squad took place at the Southend Club in Karachi. The Sri Lankan women on tour put in a lot of effort in the lead-up to the PAKvSLW series in Karachi.
After three days of hard practice and preparations at the Southend Club in Karachi, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are ready for action, with the first of three T20Is expected to be played tomorrow.
Furthermore, the trophy for the Pakistan-Sri Lanka Women’s Series was revealed in Karachi.
Pakistan’s Bismah Maroof and Sri Lanka’s Chamari Athapaththu are both anxious to show off their talent, ability, and temperament in the game’s shortest format.
Pakistan captain Bismah Maroof Statment
She stated that the “Pakistani squad has a fantastic squad in place for both forms,”(T20 and ODIs). When the newbies on both sides get an opportunity to play, they have a fantastic chance to prove their value.
Playing an international series in Pakistan is always thrilling, and such events always drive us to perform well and encourage the spectators.
She believes they will have a competitive match since Sri Lanka is a difficult opponent, particularly in Asian conditions.
Additionally, the scorching temperature will be a challenge, but as professional athletes, we will rise to the occasion.”
Sri Lanka captain Chamari Athapaththu’s statement
She stated, “We are thrilled to play a tough Pakistan squad in their backyard,” Pakistan and Sri Lanka have traditionally had cordial ties.
Further, she added that they are convinced that the series would be played in a pleasant atmosphere.
However, the weather is hot and humid, and it will put us to the test, but it will also allow us to put our talents to the test under challenging situations.
The South end Club, which is located near Karachi’s Sea View Beach, will host all three matches.
But the Karachi sea wind should help the two sides in hot weather, with the T20Is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. local time. PTV Sports will broadcast the series live.
