Tokyo: July 24, 2021- (TDI): Javad Foroughi an Iranian athlete wins the first gold medal for his country in the Air Pistol men’s final. It was Javad Foroughi first Olympic appearance in the Tokyo Olympics 2020. He also beat the Olympics record by winning the gold medal in the Olympics debut.

Seyed Mohammed Ali Hosseini an Ambassador of Iran to Pakistan took to Twitter and appreciated Javad Foroughi for winning the gold medal for his nation in its Olympic debut.

The Islamic Republic of Iran’s Javad Foroughi has triumphed in the men’s 10m air pistol final by earning 244.8 points to take the gold medal. He won a thrilling final, with Serbia’s Damir Mike in the second position with 237.9 points.

The Olympic games Tokyo 2020 were inaugurated with the opening ceremony and the Iranian Olympics squad represents the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
