Speaker National Assembly addressed the Joint Parliamentary Conference in Baku

Baku – 27 July 2021 (TDI): In the Joint Conference of speakers of National Assemblies of Pakistan, Azerbaijan, and Turkey, held today in Baku, 27 July 2021, Asad Qaiser, Speaker of National Assembly of Pakistan addressed the conference and congratulated the people and the President of Azerbaijan on the victory in 44 days Karabakh War while complimenting their struggles and valor as a nation. He stated that Pakistan also celebrated the victory of Azerbaijan.

Adding to that, Asad Qaiser reiterated Pakistan’s gratitude to Azerbaijan and Turkey for rendering their full support to Pakistan in the Kashmir dispute with India. While addressing the conference, he also stated that he is looking forward to ratcheting up bilateral trade relations with efficient economic development with Turkey and Azerbaijan.

He stated that our countries’ efforts to battle the coronavirus should be coordinated. The topic of debate that is consequential to discuss in the joint conference is the utilization of countries’ abundant natural resources and the development of cultural relations. Pakistan would be happy in reinforcing cultural ties by building an Azerbaijani Cultural Center.
