Lusaka, 22 September 2021 (TDI): Hawa H Mohamed, the incumbent Somali Ambassador to the Republic of Zambia, paid a courtesy visit to Mutale Nalumango, the 14th vice-president and currently acting President of Zambia, to discuss women health and women empowerment.
The meeting attended by various Female Diplomats, Female Ambassadors, High Commissioners, and UN Resident Coordinator mainly focused on empowering the women of Zambia through cooperation.
The conference’s primary focus remained on the maternal health of women and the means and modes to improve it. Along with it, women’s oppression and measures needed for empowering the women in the region were also discussed.
Lastly, the focus of the meeting was turned towards the provision of education to all. The attendees of the meeting agreed to work to promote education for all.
