Islamabad, 24 August 2021 (TDI): The Interior Minister of Pakistan, Sheikh Rashid stated that the Taliban has assured that they would not allow TTP to use Afghan land against Pakistan.
He gave clarity to the idea that the government of Pakistan is in contact with the Afghan Taliban on the issue of Afghanistan – based terrorists who are involved in violent activities in Pakistan. He was talking to the media in Islamabad and said that the Afghan Taliban have given a guarantee on the matter that they would not allow anyone to use Afghanistan’s soil against Pakistan. However, it is evident that in case anything like this happened there would be consequences. Tehreek-i-Taliban would not be given permission to operate in Afghanistan especially against Pakistan.
