PM Shehbaz, Indonesian President Discuss Middle East Crisis

Islamabad (TDI): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephone conversation with President Prabowo Subianto of Indonesia to discuss the escalating crisis in the Middle East.

Both leaders voiced serious concern over the situation. Prime Minister Shehbaz strongly condemned Israel’s attacks on Iran and the subsequent strikes affecting other Gulf countries.

He also briefed President Subianto on Pakistan’s diplomatic outreach to Gulf nations in response to the unfolding crisis.

They agreed on the importance of urging all parties to exercise restraint and pursue constructive dialogue to resolve differences through diplomacy.

During the call, Prime Minister Sharif also updated President Subianto on recent developments in Afghanistan. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to remain in close contact in the coming days to coordinate on regional and international issues.
