Islamabad (TDI): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif extended warm felicitations to the people and Government of the United Arab Emirates on the occasion of the UAE’s National Day.

In his message, the Prime Minister highlighted the deep-rooted ties between Pakistan and the UAE, built on historical goodwill, shared cultural and religious values, and mutual trust.

He credited the late Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan for laying the foundation of this enduring friendship, which continues under the leadership of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

“The warmth between our peoples reflects the strong bond of mutual affection,” the Prime Minister said, noting the positive contributions of Pakistanis living in the UAE toward fostering closer ties.

He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with the UAE in trade, investment, defense, and other sectors, aimed at promoting peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and beyond.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif concluded by praying for continued growth in Pakistan-UAE relations and wished the UAE lasting peace, progress, and prosperity. “Long live Pakistan-UAE friendship,” he added.

Over the decades, Pakistan and the UAE have cultivated a multi-dimensional partnership, spanning economic, cultural, and defense sectors. Both countries have actively collaborated on trade and investment initiatives, with Pakistani professionals playing key roles in infrastructure, healthcare, and other industries across the Emirates.

Defense and security cooperation between the two nations has also remained a cornerstone of the bilateral relationship, with regular exchanges, joint exercises, and training programs reflecting mutual commitment to regional stability.
