Islamabad (TDI): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday ordered the immediate dispatch of two planeloads of relief goods to Gaza and Lebanon.
He made these remarks while chairing a meeting of the federal cabinet on Tuesday.
The premier instructed authorities to use both land and air routes for aid delivery.

During a meeting to review relief efforts, he urged better coordination with Pakistan’s ambassadors in Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan, and Egypt. “Ensure a faster supply of aid to those in need,” he said.
Shehbaz also appealed for donations to the PM Relief Fund for Gaza and Lebanon (Account No. IBAN: PK11SBPD0000001111114292).
He called for an awareness campaign to inform the public about the fund.

The briefing revealed that winter tents, clothing, blankets, medicines, and food were being sent to those affected by Israeli attacks.
However, Israeli strikes and the ongoing siege were delaying aid deliveries.
The government also plans to assist NGOs aiming to send relief to Gaza and Lebanon.
