Islamabad (TDI): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Tuesday said that several countries are eager to enhance trade and diplomatic relations with Pakistan.
Speaking about overseas Pakistanis, Dar described them as a source of national pride and a valuable asset, noting that the government is actively addressing their concerns and issues.
Dar, who also serves as President of International Affairs for Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), was meeting with party office bearers in the UAE and Canada, including Ghulam Mustafa Mughal, Chairman PML-N UAE; Pir Adnan Bodla, Head of Media PML-N Canada; Raja Muhammad Shafiq, Vice President PML-N Canada; and other senior overseas leaders. Additional Secretary General of PML-N, Anusha Rehman, also attended.

During the meeting, participants congratulated Dar on the success of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos and expressed gratitude to him and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for restoring the dignity of the Pakistani passport and the respect of overseas Pakistanis.

They also praised the government’s efforts in economic and diplomatic affairs aimed at strengthening Pakistan’s security and development.
On the occasion, MLA candidate Raja Muhammad Shafiq presented a book highlighting development projects in Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
